8 - Bernard Dimey Media library
This building dates from 1857 and was built to lodge nuns belonging to the order of Providence from Langres. They nursed the sick and provided education for children. In 1940, during the Second World War, as the school in Nogent had been requisitioned, this building was used as a school instead. The Nogent-born poet, Bernard Dimey, was a pupil here when René Baudon was headmaster. The building housed the Treasury from 1960 until it was completely refurbished in 2007 and became the home of the multimedia library which is named after the famous poet.
